Ingredients :

For the Chakli Bhajani

3 cups chana daal
4 cups of rice
1 cup moong dal
1 cup urad dal
1/2 cup sabudana
1/4 cup cumin seeds
1/2 cup coriander


Recipe :

1) All pulses, rice is washed separately and dried in different cotton cloth.
2) Rice, all pulses should be roasted until they are brown. Also, the sabudanas should be roasted separately.
3) Combine rice, all pulses, sabudana, and other ingredients and let cool. Let cool for about 4-5 hours, until completely cool.


Note :

1) You can also wipe all the pulses and rice powder with a damp cloth, save time. Likewise, it also reduces the time of roasting pulses.
2) Use Urid and Mugadal without coated, as the use of coated dal makes the taste of Chakli worse.
3) When water is deficient, take warm water again while kneading flour and do not take cold water.


Ingredient :


For a Chakli

4 cups Chakli Bhajani
3 tbsp red chili powder
1/2 cup oil
3 cup water
3 tsp hing
4 tsp white sesame seeds
1 tbsp ova
Salt to taste


Recipe :

1) Boil 3 cups water in boiling water. Add oil, asafoetida, red chili powder, ova, white sesame seeds, and salt, boil the water if the water is boiling and add the Bhajani chakli.
2) Cover this mixture for 10-12 minutes and again, put in warm water and knead the dough.
3) Apply oil to the inside of the chakli mold so that the flour does not stick. In a mold, add a dough. fry chakli on medium heat until golden brown.


Note :

1) chakli Bhajani boiling with hot or warm water
2) If the chakli is broken, understand that the flour has become thicker. If this is the case, apply warm water and knead the flour again.
3) After pouring the chakli into the oil, there are many bubbles. If the chakli is removed from the oil before stop bubbles, then it is soft. you have to wait till stop the bubbles.
